Ethnographic tour "Travel to the Polar Ural"

polarchum1 YAMALTOUR offers very interesting travel to the depths of ancient old believer cultures and visit local population having nomadic way of life and at all times busy in traditional trade and everyday life. You will stay among people that permanently occupy with housekeeping and breading of domestic animals, in particular reindeer that accompany people for the whole life because local aborigines have tamed this wild animal. For them reindeer is everything – clothing, food, habitation and mean of transportation.

Tour duration: 6 days

Season of carrying out: beginning of November – end of April

Length of route: 80 km

Means of transportation: motor vehicle TRECOL

Group members: 8 people

Cost of tour per 1 person: 18 267 rubles

The route does not require special physical training. Tour participants should have appropriate clothing and shoes enabling to feel comfortable in natural conditions of the High North.
